mountaineering

...you won't remember the time you spend working in the office or mowing the lawn...
The mountainous areas of Britain provide us with the most accessible and rewarding playgrounds on earth, offering adventure and unparalleled beauty. From the untamed wilderness of Knoydart, vast landscapes of the Cairngorms, wild and magnificent monoliths of Scotland's North-West, to perfect, pyramidal peaks of Snowdonia.

Mountaineering is about ascending mountains, to wherever, and in whichever way, that suits you. Be you a keen scrambler hoping to take on some tougher challenges, a climber wishing to perfect your technique indoors or on rock, an enthusiastic walker looking to harness your skills in the winter environment, a businessperson in need of a local expert, or someone totally new to it all and wishing for a new perspective: There is something for everyone.

I can tailor any mountain activity or course to suit your wants and needs. Ratios are kept to a minimum where possible, to maximize your experience and learning, yet I can cater for larger groups.
If you have something else in mind that is not listed here, or wish to be led as part of a larger group, then please Get In Contact to discuss your aspirations, or take a look at the Event page.

BEST OF SNOWDONIA

Eryri, the Welsh name for Snowdonia, means 'Highlands'. It relates to the Latin word 'oriri', meaning 'to rise'. Whichever fascinating name is true, do you feel ready to rise, to the many great challenges of Eryri?
