Paddlesports is ever-increasing in popularity within the UK, with more people taking part in this fantastic sport, year on year. With a huge variety of disciplines and an array of venues to choose between, it is truly accessible to all: From open canoeing on vast lakes, to white water kayaking down classic runs; stand-up paddleboarding down at the beach, to sea kayaking along rugged coastlines; competitive freestyle at national watersports centres, to canoe slalom and sprint at the Olympics. Paddlesports offers something for everyone, and usually the most difficult part is deciding what style of paddling you prefer, and importantly, whether you wish to use a single blade, or two!
Over the last 10 years I have been fortunate enough to paddle in many incredible locations across the UK, Europe, Africa and Asia, including the Alps, Kenya and Nepal. I have had the pleasure of guiding and coaching in all of these places, and have accrued a vast amount of experience. I am qualified to the highest standards of personal performance and leadership, across a number of craft, and I am as passionate for coaching and introducing beginners as I am for leading and developing current boaters.
My personal skills and preferences within this diverse sport, are within white water kayaking, open canoeing and sea kayaking, and I offer a range of UK-based guiding services, training and development courses, and personal performance coaching.
