welsh 3000s
...the best view comes after the hardest climb...
The 'Welsh 3000s' is one of the UK's most well known challenges. To successfully complete it requires summiting all of Snowdonia's 15 x 3000ft peaks, which is no mean feat. To undertake such a challenge, you should have a high level of physical and mental fitness, as well as possess the ability to move efficiently across uneven terrain.
This challenge can be attempted in a number of ways. The typical itinerary is to attempt all 15 summits in a single push, limited to 24 hrs, beginning by tackling the highest range first, the Snowdon range, before continuing over the Glyderau and finally the Carneddau. The route, however, can also be reversed if desired, summits can be shared out across a team, or the duration can be lengthened over two-three days. However you want to do it, the achievement remains the same!
All of the following activities are based out of Llanberis, in Snowdonia National Park, and will run from 7:45am til 8pm, unless stated otherwise. Prices are per person. Recommendations and advice for accommodation can be found at the bottom of this page. Meeting places will be confirmed at the time of booking. Typically the ratio of instructors to participants is 1:6. If you are a larger group than stated below, and/or an individual or group who wish to have a similar activity run in your area, then please Get In Contact to discuss your aspirations.

Yes, although additional food & rehydration solutions will be provided, it is recommended that you bring along some extra snacks. - Where can I stay?
There are a variety of options in Snowdonia, to suit everybody's tastes and budgets. There are many more options than the ones suggested below, and of the options suggested below, all operate independently from me:
Hostels - Plas Curig; YHA Pen-Y-Pass; Snowdonia Mountain Hostel.

B&Bs - Glyn Peris; Snowdon View; The Ferns Guesthouse; 'Air BnB' options are also available. - What kit do I need to bring?
For all of the above activities, you may be out in the mountains all day, and therefore will require the following:
1. Warm clothing, including suitable hats, gloves and sunglasses where appropriate
