There truly is no better feeling than being embraced by the snug of your sleeping bag, wrapped up warm and toasty, as you watch the final flicker of light fade over the horizon, its last tinges of orange and red casting out onto the night sky; Only other than the blissful silence that brings the morning, its warm and comforting glow reappearing in the distance, invigorating and refreshing, after a long and uninterrupted sleep.
Everybody needs an 'escape' once in a while and wild camping offers just that. Have the mountains to yourself and experience a night you won't forget.

Canvas-lit dinner
Enjoy a fabulous night beneath the stars in the mountains of Snowdonia. Endless wild camping spots await. Experience complete solitude, only for it to be further enhanced by birdsong, or the arrival of an inquisitive wild pony.
The evening will begin at 5.30pm, where you will walk to your wild camping spot alongside a qualified mountain leader. After setting up camp, relax and take in the view, whilst your evening meal is cooked for you, catering for any needs. Settle down for a memorable sunset and an unforgettable night. Rise with the sun and depart after a hearty breakfast, finishing no later than 10am. Prices are per night and do not include sleeping bags. Tents are included. |

Enjoy a night away or base yourselves throughout your holiday in a scenic mountain hut in Snowdonia.
There are over 25 huts in Snowdonia to choose from, each varying in their facilities, size, and remoteness. With so many to choose between, there will always be something to suit your group's numbers and desires. There is nothing quite like enjoying a glass of wine in front of the fire, or waking up to the sound of birds, in a fantastic location with friends. Prices are per night and do not include food and bedding. |

- What is included in the price?
Evening accommodation and emergency first aid equipment. - What is not included in the price?
Bedding or sleeping bags, food and drink for the day (unless stated otherwise), personal insurance and personal equipment (unless stated otherwise). - What is the minimum number of participants required to ensure my activity runs?
The minimum number is respective of the activity booked: 2 for activities at a 1:2 ratio, 3 for activities at a 1:3 ratio, 4 for activities at a 1:4 ratio and so on. And, with fear of being obvious, 1 for 1:1 private bookings! - Who will staff my activity?
'Canvas-lit dinner' will be staffed by me or a fully qualified mountaineering and climbing instructor (MCI) or British mountain guide (BMG). 'Room with a view' will not be staffed. - Can I hire walking boots from you?
No, sorry. Because of vastly different shoe sizes from person to person, I do not stock a large range of walking boots. However, there are numerous shops and hire services available in the local area to your activity, or you can Get In Contact if you need any more help acquiring a pair. - Can I hire a sleeping bag from you?
Yes, please arrange this at the time of booking. Sleeping bags come with a cotton liner and cost £30 per person, per night. A deposit of £150 to cover any damage or soiling of the materials is required. - Can I hire a sleeping mat from you?
Yes, please arrange this at the time of booking. Sleeping mats cost £15 per person, per night. A deposit of £75 to cover any damage or soiling of the materials is required. - Can I hire a rucksack from you?
Yes, please arrange this at the time of booking. Rucksacks cost £20 per person, per day (per night for 'canvas-lit dinner'). A deposit of £75 to cover any damage or soiling of the materials is required. - What kit do I need to bring for camping activities?
For 'canvas-lit dinner' you will be out in the mountains for the afternoon, evening and morning and therefore will require the following:
1. Warm clothing, including suitable hats, gloves and sunglasses where appropriate
2. Waterproof jacket and waterproof trousers
3. Walking boots and spare crocs/flip-flops for use in camp
4. Snacks, drinks and personal medication
5. Small personal first aid kit, if required (to include things like blister plasters, suncream)
6. Mobile phone and whistle
7. Personal walking poles
8. Personal toiletries and desired luxury items
9. Sleeping bag, cotton liner and roll mat
10. Head torch and spare batteries
11. Rucksack (30L minimum recommended) and waterproof liner - What kit do I need to bring for mountain huts?
For 'room with a view' you will be situated in a mountain hut in the mountains, with varying levels of facilities and remoteness. Dependant upon your choice of stay, you may require the following:
1. Warm clothing, including suitable hats, gloves and sunglasses where appropriate
2. Waterproof jacket and waterproof trousers
3. Suitable trainers, 'approach shoes' or walking boots to get to the mountain hut
4. Food, drinks and personal medication
5. Small personal first aid kit, if required (to include things like blister plasters, suncream)
6. Mobile phone
7. Personal toiletries and desired luxury items
8. Bedding, such as a cotton liner and/or sleeping bag
9. Head torch and spare batteries
10. Rucksack (30L minimum recommended) and waterproof liner
